Baseball
The Bighorn baseball varsity team had a tough loss to Columbus and Butte High last week, but the JV team managed a nice 13-2 win vs. Columbus. Way to go boys! The baseball team will host Butte Central this Friday. Good luck Bighorns!
Track & Field
Lone Peak tracksters had the weekend off and will travel to the Al Walker Stillwater Memorial this Saturday. Also a few elite qualifiers will be competing in Anaconda tomorrow in the John Cheek Top 8 Meet.
Golf
The boys golf team did not have what they were looking for at the Ennis tournament this weekend, but on the girls side, freshman Cate Leydig and Olivia Kamieniarz tied for second place shooting 89. Leydig already has a second place finish on the season and a win in Columbus with a score of 84. In this tournament, Kamieniarz finished 5th and Dylan Manka 6th, giving the Lone Peak girls second place overall. These three freshmen are turning some heads and will look to repeat that this week in Three Forks.
Tennis
Lone Peak tennis had a good showing in Red Lodge and are participating in East Helena today in a triangular with Boulder. They will also head up to Missoula on Saturday for the Best of the West Tournament.
