Hello Miner / Bighorn Fans!
Read below for the latest news in activities this week at BSSD.
LPHS Basketball
The Bighorn boys and girls lost a tough game on the road in Three Forks on Thursday and came back to face Whitehall in Big Sky on senior night and the last games of the regular season. Although they both lost in close games (Boys 49-62, Girls 31-34) they were able to honor their seniors in their last game on the Lone Peak High School gym floor. Congratulations to seniors Charlie Distad, Julek Shipman, Aidan Germain, Astrid McGuire, and Vera Grabow. Thank you for all you have done for the LPHS athletic programs over the years. Here is the scoring breakdown from senior night:

Girls - Harper Morris 12, Vera Grabow 9, Maddie Wilcynski 7, Astrid McGuire 4, Addy Malinowski 2
The boys have earned the five seed in the district tournament and will face Whitehall on Wednesday at 3:30. The girls are in the seven seed and will play Manhattan on Thursday at 5:30. Good luck to both teams!
