Big Sky School District

Last weekend, Charlotte Merryman represented the Big Sky School District at the Gallatin County Spelling Bee, which took place in Bozeman at the Museum of the Rockies. An avid reader, Charlotte had advanced to the Gallatin County Spelling Bee after winning the school's spelling bee. Charlotte placed 4th in the county over the weekend and will compete in the statewide spelling bee on Saturday, March 9th at Montana State University.  As noted by Mrs. Jenks - OMS teacher and organizer of our school spelling bee - this will be the second consecutive year OMS will send a student to compete at the state level. Congratulations to Charlotte on her achievements and best of luck at the Montana Treasure State Spelling Bee!
