LPHS Baseball

The Lone Peak baseball team concluded their season last weekend with a playoff game in Hamilton for a spot in the state tournament. The Bighorns ended the season 3rd place in the division which earned them a play-in game versus the number two team in the west division. They battled all game long keeping it tied up at 1-1 then gave up one run in the bottom of the 7th inning to lose by one. Congratulations on a fantastic season and all of the improvement you made!

LPHS Golf

The LPHS Girls golf team are Class B champions! They finished 27 strokes ahead of the second place team, Florence Carlton. This marked an undefeated season as the Lady Bighorns won every tournament they entered this year. Cate Leydig finished in 2nd overall with scores of 82 and 84. Olivia Kamieniarz roared back after a first round 102 and shot 85 in the second round to earn a 10th place finish. Dylan Manka and Maddie Wilcynski both fired decent scores to keep LPHS in the commanding lead. Congratulations girls!

State Champs

LPHS Track

The LPHS Track team had a decent showing at the chilly District track meet, qualifying three athletes to divisionals. The athletes who competed at divisionals were:

Harper Morris - 400m, 300m Hurdles

Aubrey Farr - 100m Hurdles, Triple Jump

Haley Hodge - 100m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles

Haley Hodge will be advancing to state next week in the hurdles. Congratulations girls and good luck to Haley!

LPHS Tennis

The LPHS Tennis team has been on a tear of their own, qualifying 6 athletes to the state tournament in Missoula this weekend! We wish them the best of luck and congratulate them on a fantastic season.
