OMS / LPHS Football
The LPHS / OMS football team faced Cascade at home on Friday. The Miners unfortunately lost their game against Cascade, but the varsity pulled off one of its more thrilling wins in recent memory outscoring the Badgers in 13-6 in the fourth quarter to come away with a 47-42 victory. George Helms found the end zone a number of times including two kick off returns for touchdowns. Ebe Grabow made a spectacular end zone reception from quarterback Juliusz Shipman in the fourth quarter to put the Bighorns on top, then the defense took care of the rest. The Bighorns will be on the road this weekend taking on Seeley / Swan. Great work gentlemen!
LPHS Volleyball
The LPHS Varsity Volleyball team face two tough opponents this week, the Class B non conference matchup Whitehall and Manhattan Christian. The ladies lost in five sets to Whitehall and three sets to Manhattan Christian. The Lady Bighorns have their eyes on the horizon as they have three district opponents on the schedule this week in West Yellowstone, Ennis, and Twin Bridges. Good luck ladies!
LPHS Soccer
The LPHS soccer teams had one road matchup last week against Laurel. The boys pulled off a tie, but the girls came up short against Laurel. They will face two division opponents this week headed to Livingston on Thursday to play Park High, and here at home on Saturday vs. Lockwood. Good luck everyone!
