OMS / LPHS Football
The OMS team faced Sheridan on the road on Thursday. Although the Miners lost the game, the young group continues to learn each week and make improvements. The Bighorns travelled to Seeley / Swan on Friday and came out swinging, holding the Blackhawks scoreless until the end of the third quarter. The Bighorns went on to win the game 53-22. This improves the Bighorns record to 2-2 and they improve to 4th in the division. The boys will be on the road again this weekend in Choteau Great work boys!
LPHS Volleyball
The LPHS Volleyball team had a big week with three district matchups. The Lady Bighorns won their matchup with West Yellowstone on Tuesday but came up short vs. Ennis and Twin Bridges on Friday and Saturday, losing both close games in four sets. The JV team beat both West Yellowstone and Ennis, but came up short against Twin as well. The ladies face Gardiner at home this week and will participate in the Manhattan Christian Invitational Tournament on Saturday. Good luck ladies!
LPHS Soccer
The LPHS soccer teams faced Park High in the wind and the rain on Thursday in Livingston. Both teams unfortunately came up short, but had another match in Big Sky vs. Lockwood. The girls were tied with Lockwood until the very end when the Lions scored just before games end besting the Bighorns 3-2. The boys however, delivered redemption and shut out Lockwood 5-0. The Bighorns have two rematches this week with Laurel on Thursday and Billings Central on Saturday. Good luck everyone!
OMS Volleyball
The OMS volleyball teams both defeated Monforton last Monday in three sets. The girls all continue to improve! The 7/8 grade team also played in the Manhattan Christian Junior High Invite on Saturday where they won two games and lost two games. They play West Yellowstone at home on Wednesday. Good luck girls!
