Dear Big Sky Community,
Greetings from the Superintendent’s office. We are fully into the year now and have concluded the 1st quarter already. There are some exciting things happening on campus from a facility and enrollment perspective. At our recent official count, the 1st Tuesday in October, the district was slightly up from the same time a year ago and Lone Peak High School has the most students in history. This puts the district in a great position considering the falling enrollment numbers of most schools our size in other parts of the state.
We are quickly moving through the second quarter of the year, we have parent conferences coming this week and I hope you have an opportunity to visit with your student’s teachers. It is important to note that you are welcome to visit with your child’s teacher at any time of the year you wish, not just during conferences.
Big Sky School District Annual Veterans Day Assembly is Friday, November 11th at 1 p.m. in the Bough Dolan Athletic Center. Please pass this day and time on to any veterans in the community you may know.
Have a great weekend and Thanks for letting us work with your children.
